The signing ceremony of online training cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants
The signing ceremony of training cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants (VACPA) took place on the afternoon of August 8, 2016.
At the ceremony, there were representatives of VACPA, including Mr. Tran Khanh Lam – Secretary General of VACPA and members of the Executive Committee, and representatives of Ho Chi Minh City Open University, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Huu Duc – Vice Rector, leaders of the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing and Board of Directors of the eLearning Center.
In the strategy of sustainable education development, the cooperation between the university and businesses is always made a top priority to serve the training goals of the university. The cooperative relationship between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants was formed in order to exploit the two sides’ strength to cooperate with each other in training, technology transfer, and information exchange.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Khanh Lam – Secretary General of VACPA appreciated the online training program of Ho Chi Minh Open University, and expressed his desire to cooperate with the university to implement the preparation program for gaining auditor certificates, accountant certificates and updating knowledge for members of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants.
During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Huu Duc pledged to cooperate with Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants to promote the implementation of training, update knowledge and carry out preparation program for gaining certificates for members of VACPA using online training method as soon as possible.
