The entrance ceremony of the online bachelor distance learning program, course 03/2020
On the morning of 4 October 2020, the eLearning Center of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (ELO) celebrated the entrance ceremony of the Online Bachelor’s Degree Program – 3rd course of 2020 at 35-37 Ho Hao Hon St, Ward Co Giang, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector, Dr. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director of eLearning Center, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thi – Office Manager for Human Resources of LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company, faculties’ deans, ELO staff and new students of course 03/2020.
The ceremony welcomed over 700 new students in 10 majors: Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Human Resource Administration, Finance – Banking, Law, Economic Law, English Language, and Accounting & Auditing.
In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs promote the advantages of flexibility and convenience. The programs have been approved by society.
Besides, the Online Bachelor’s Degree Programs are evaluated by the companies. At the entrance ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thi, Office Manager for Human Resources of LIX Detergent Joint Stock Company, appreciated the program to provide the good qualities and values for laborers. He also expressed gratitude to Ho Chi Minh City Open University. Additionally, he desired the improvement and development of the online bachelor distance learning program for enhancing the quality of the labor force.
The entrance ceremony closed successfully, while this event marked the beginning of a new development period as well as the E-Learning Program development of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
