Signing event of cooperation with young employee assistance center (YEAC)

On the morning of 19 December, 2018, the Partnership on Bachelor Online Program Enrollment’s Signing Event were celebrated with the participation of HCMC Open University (ELO as the representative) and the Young Employee Assistance Center (YEAC).

In this event, the representatives of YEAC were Mr Le Thanh Vu – Center’s Director and Board of administrators. The representatives of HCMC Open University were Associate Professor Vu Huu Duc- Vice rector, Board of Directors and Departments’ Heads of ELO.

The signing event of cooperation marked the first step of two sides’ effort in bringing excellent studying chances to young employees living and working in HCM City. With the convenience in places and time of studying as well as the cost-reduction advantage, the Bachelor online training program is the best choice for anyone who is busy working and taking care of family. It is expected to enhance self-worth and improve work and life qualities.

As a part of the event, HCMC Open University – ELO gifted scholarships with the total amount of 120,000,000 VND to YEAC as an encouragement to employees in order to improve their professional competence. Besides, both sides hoped to introduce the program to employees of unions in HCMC to contribute to the development of their professional competence.

After that, both sides continued discussing further details: objectives and standards of cooperation evaluation and the program introduction methods to target publics.

The event ended successfully with many agreements.
