THE ENTRANCE CEREMONY OF ONLINE BACHELOR PROGRAM – COURSE 04/2019

On the morning of 5 January 2020, the eLearning Center of Ho Chi Minh City Open University (ELO) celebrated the entrance ceremony of Online Bachelor’s Degree Program – 4 th course of 2019 at 97 Vo Van Tan St, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of Assos. Prof., Dr. Vu Huu Duc – Vice Rector – Expert in online education sector, Dr. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director of eLearning Center, faculites’ deans, ELO staff and new students of course 04/2019.



ELO’s new students showed up early

Speaking at the ceremony, Assos. Prof., Dr. Vu Huu Duc highlighted the importance of digital capability and the must in shrinking the digital divide, in this era of 4.0 and global intergration, when the labour market requires professional knowledge and digital capability.



Besides the program which attracted more than 3,500 learners, ELO is welcoming students of short-term courses: TOEIC and TOPIK. Soon, HCMC Open University will open free courses with the aim of enhancing people’s intellection and fostering lifelong learning.
