The opening ceremony of the 6th online Bachelor’s degree program of the course 2/2018 marked an important step of the program throughout the journey of formation and development.
On the morning of July 8, 2018, the eLearning Center of Ho Chi Minh City Open University solemnly held the Opening Ceremony of Online Bachelor’s Degree Program of the course 2/2018 at the headquarters at 97 Vo Van Tan Street, Ward 6, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Hai Dang – Deputy Director of Binh Phuoc Department of Education and Training, leaders of enterprises, including Ms. Pham Thi Huan – Chairman of the Board – General Director of Ba Huan Joint Stock Company, Mr. Pham Phu Yen and Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hung – Deputy Director of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Branch, Mr. Tran Khanh Lam – Secretary General of Vietnam Association of Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Ho Dang Lanh – Viet Nam Food Paradise Joint Stock Company, Mr. Le Thanh Kinh – Director of Le Nguyen Law Firm, Mr. Le Vu Hoai Ngoc – Director of Nutshealth Import Export Service Trading Production Co., Ltd, Ms. Dang Thi Tuyet Mai – Factory Manager of Nam Dan Van An Co., Ltd, and Mr. Vuong Quoc Hung – Cultural Development and Import Export Joint Stock Company. More importantly, there were more than 350 new students of the course 2/2018 during the ceremony.
The opening ceremony of the 6th online Bachelor’s degree program of the course 2/2018 marked an important step of the program throughout the journey of formation and development. Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Open University’s eLearning Center officially offered two new majors, including Law and Economic Law, bringing the total number of majors under the form of online training to 9, comprising of Law, Economic Law, English Language, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, International Business, Accounting, Auditing and Finance – Banking.
At the ceremony, the online Bachelor’s degree program received great appreciation from the state agencies and businesses. Accordingly, Mr. Le Thanh Kinh – Director of Le Nguyen Law Firm, representing the enterprises, was impressed with the program because of the quality of training as well as flexibility and convenience it could bring to learners. He expected that the online Bachelor’s Degree Program would become an effective solution for training the modern Law sector’s human resources in the future.
In fact, many businesses planned to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City Open University in training and developing human resources of the company through online training, like Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited Tan Son Nhat Branch (VIAGS Tan Son Nhat).
In addition, the program also received a strong consensus from learners. Current students expressed their satisfaction after studying the Online Bachelor’s Degree Program. Ms. Nguyen Vo Thien Lan – Student of the course 3/2017 talked that thanks to dedicated and timely guidance from the university, especially the lecturers, experts and academic officers, she improved her study efficiency. Besides, the content of the program designed lively and clearly, combined with the “digital curriculum” are important factors to bring success for the program.
