The eLearning Center awarded scholarships and reached cooperation agreements with VIAGS Company
On the morning of July 4, 2016, at the 4th floor of Vietnam Airlines Corporation – Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh Open University held a ceremony to award scholarships “Online Bachelor’s Degree Program” and signed a training cooperation agreement on human resource development with Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS) – Tan Son Nhat Branch.
The event was attended by members of the company, including Mr. Bui Duc Thanh – Director, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hung – Deputy Director, Mr. Pham Phu Yen – Deputy Director, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong – Head of the training center, and others. On the university’s side, there were Mr. Vu Huu Duc – Vice-Rector of the university, Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director, and officers of the eLearning Center attending the event.
Mr. Bui Duc Thanh – Director of VIAGS Company highly appreciated the “Online Bachelor’s Degree Program” and values that the university had brought to learners. He hoped that the two sides would cooperate with each other to apply the online training program in the process of training human resources for the company.
Through the meeting, the Board of Directors of Ho Chi Minh City Open University shared the desire to support the training, improve the quality of human resources through the online training model of the university and committed to promoting activities that the university had agreed with the business.
Following that, Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh – Director of the eLearning Center had a brief introduction about the online training program and the benefits it could bring to learners.
At the end of the meeting, Ho Chi Minh City Open University signed a cooperation agreement and awarded Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited – Tan Son Nhat Branch 3 scholarships with a value of 180,000,000 VND.
