Ho Chi Minh City Open University’s E-Learning Program in Civil Engineering trains students to be engineers with professional knowledge and capacity in civil and industrial construction engineering in the country’s development and globalization trends.
The program provides students with theoretical and practical knowledge in design, construction, and project management to solve construction problems with economic and technical efficiency. In particular, the program emphasizes applying technology in construction engineering in analyzing, designing, and choosing materials, deploying construction drawings, and organizing the construction for civil and industrial works with national quality standards.
Graduates have capacities for analyzing and designing the structure of buildings, public works, and factories; analyzing, designing, and selecting construction methods; selecting technical methods; organizing construction and project management.
Admission requirements
To enroll in the program, applicants have to meet either of the two admission requirements as follows:
- + Holding a high school diploma in the form of formal education or continuing education or having graduated from secondary school.
- + Holding an intermediate degree but have not yet graduated from a high school must be recognized as having completed high school subjects as prescribed.
