The opening ceremony of the online bachelor’s distance learning program, course 01/2022

On the morning of April 9, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held the Opening Ceremony of the online Bachelor’s program, course 01/2022 at Hall A, at 97 Vo Van Tan St, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City and transmitted it to the public via Zoom.

The ceremony had the participation of Mr. Tran Giang Khue – Head of the Southern Office, National Office of Intellectual Property, and Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong – Member of the Executive Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Vietnam E-commerce Association. Ho Chi Minh City Open University had the presence of Prof. Ph.D. Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector, Ph.D. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang – Vice President, Board of Directors of Online Training Center, and representatives of leaders of faculties, departments, and the freshmen of the course 1/2022.

The program opened with a speech by the Board of Directors and guests from the National Office of Intellectual Property. After that was the announcement of the decision to recognize the list of students. Finally, there was a post sharing the thoughts of new students on the first day of admission. Introduction video clips and a brief guide to the Online Bachelor’s Program were interspersed throughout the program.

After completing the rituals in the ceremony, new students were instructed to access Zoom to meet the lectures in charge of the Faculty. This meeting was necessary and helpful for students to listen to the sharing, orientation, answers about the curriculum questions, and online learning methods from the lectures.

This course had nearly 900 students in 10 majors: Marketing, Law, Economic Law, English Language, Finance – Banking, International Business, Human Resource Management, Administration Business, Accounting, and Auditing.
