Online Training Center accompanied with District 7 Summer Volunteer Campaign – 2018
On the morning of June 10, 2018, at the Children’s House of District 7, the Commencement ceremony of the District 7 Summer Volunteer Campaigns – 2018 with the topic “Year of Creative Youth” was organized by the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union. Accompanying the program was the attendance of the Online Training Center – Ho Chi Minh City Open University, represented by Ph.D. Phan Thi Ngoc Thanh, Director of the Center.
This was the promotion of the role of young people in volunteering to build District 7 with a good quality of life, civilization, modernity, and gratitude. At the same time, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh City youth’s summer volunteer programs and campaigns, the Standing Committee of the District Youth Union has established works associated with 04 volunteer campaigns: Red phoenix flower, Green march, Red holidays and Green summer.
At the Commencement ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Luu Vinh Phu – District Commissioner, Secretary of the District Youth Union delivered a speech to give the mission and mobilize youth union members to participate in the peak time of the summer volunteer campaign. This campaign is towards charity, social security, gratitude attitude, and traditional ethics of “Drink Water, but Remember the Source” to the previous generation. Therefore, creating an attractive image of District 7 youth, and contributing efforts to the volunteer movement of Ho Chi Minh City.
Through the program, the Online Training Center – Ho Chi Minh City Open University was pleased to accompany, support, and honor to award union members, youth, and youth in District 7 400 gifts with a total value of 100 million VND.
