Press conference “The Introduction of online training program” of Ho Chi Minh City Open University

On the morning of January 7, 2018, the press conference “The introduction of online training program” of Ho Chi Minh City Open University took place successfully at GEM Center, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

What factors help a country improve its competitiveness? It is the development of human resources – people with enthusiasm, creativity, and intensive knowledge and skills.

According to the Bureau of Statistics, our country needs about 360,000 employees per year with professional qualifications and good skills until 2025. Therefore, in order to meet the demand for human resources today, we need flexible training methods that can help learners quickly adapt, and absorb new sources of knowledge while still maintaining their work productivity and daily life.

The eLearning Center – Ho Chi Minh City Open University launched a method of online training, enhancing the quality of education, and equipping workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to adapt to the technology market 4.0.

On the morning of January 7, 2018, the press conference “The introduction of online training program” of Ho Chi Minh City Open University took place successfully at GEM Center. “The online training program” was officially launched with 9 majors: Accounting, Auditing, International Business, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, English Language, Finance – Banking, Law, and Economic Law.

 

At the press conference, Ho Chi Minh Open University was honored to welcome leaders of agencies, enterprises, press representatives, teachers, and students of the university.

At the press conference, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Vu Huu Duc Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Open University said: “The training program is implemented according to AAOU standards and is verified by the Science and Training Council of the university. Currently, the university has been granted the investment license to build a Center for Research and Development of High-tech Education at the Hi-tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City, preparing for the development of modern training facilities for the program.”

“Online training program” attracted a lot of interest and appreciation from agencies, departments, and business leaders throughout the country. Through the online training program, learners can freely study their desired majors anytime and at any place and still be assured of the quality of teaching and the value of diplomas so that they do not have any difficulties in their current work and life.
