The opening ceremony of the online bachelor’s distance learning program, course 03/2021

On March 10, 2021, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held the Opening Ceremony of the online Bachelor’s program, course 03/2021 via Zoom.

Participants in the program were business guests: Mr. Do Quang Trang – Director of Sales Department of Gia Dinh Area, VNPT Business Center in Ho Chi Minh City; Representatives from Ho Chi Minh Open University included Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector, Dr. Le Nguyen Quoc Khang – Vice-Rector, Board of Directors of Online Training Center, together with representatives of leaders of Faculties, Departments, and especially the participation of freshmen of course 03/2021.

Due to the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has arranged for staff to work in groups; stopped unnecessary meeting activities; reminded officials and lecturers to strictly follow the 5K rule; stopped collecting tuition fees, and received students directly to prevent and control the Covid. By its online and remote nature, the online Bachelor’s program of the Open University of Ho Chi Minh City creates favorable conditions for all students to complete the admission procedures, study, and take the exam remotely at any time. minimize direct contact and travel time. All teaching and learning activities of this program are not affected by the epidemic, ensuring student safety as well as teaching quality.

This course had nearly 550 students in 10 majors: Marketing, Law, Economic Law, English Language, Finance – Banking, International Business, Human Resource Management, Administration Business, Accounting, and Auditing.
